How's Your Day - July 2014

PLEASE HELP ME!!! SWMBO is making me watch "The Notebook" AGAIN! Isn't there enough in real life to cry about?

I'm sorry my friend. I've been in your shoes twice. Take it for the team. I think I've watched it 3 times..

 

Two viewings of "The Notebook" result in an automatic six month suspension of your man card.

 

What's "The Notebook"? A movie of some kind?

 

I've never seen it.

 

After 3 times, I think you have to take the man class over. Or, go hunting for the weekend. Something like that anyhow.

I had to renew my man card. Took my grandson to WWE

 

Alright, I know I'm about to catch hell. I've seen The Notebook. 3 or 4 times. It's actually a great story. To even deepen the grief giving you guys may give me... P.S. I Love You ain't bad either. Would I watch them alone? Bah. If my lady wants to and it makes her happy that I'm willing to watch it with her I'll do it.

You? You're beyond a simple class or hunting weekend. I'm not sure there's even hope at this point.

 

I went skeet shooting again today and went 48 of my first 50 and finished with a 94/100. Then I shot a round of sporting clays and did 76/100 on the A course. I shoot everything gun down with my left handed Wingmaster. I haven't shot this much in a day in at least 5 years. Even with light loads, I'm a sore pup, happy, but sore.

 

That is some fine shootin'.

 

Thanks. I just hope this practice helps when I get to go for dove and grouse.

 

I know

 

I have always found if I can recover quickly from the alarm when a grouse explodes with flutter, I can get off a decent shot. Never hunted dove. Best wishes.
