It is! I don't usually leave dirty dish towels out all willy-nilly like that. My apologies to the people of this forum.
If the Zombpocalypse struck Portland, would anyone notice? (I kid, I kid....) I for one am appalled at your slovenly countertop. *sideways glance at dirty socks resting on his own countertop*
I have a few, so here are the pics: and my "FC Schalke 04" Mug. Translated the Slogan means: "Every Generation has it´s Heroes, but all have the same passion". A coffee junkie like me,needs a lot of mugs.
Here are some of my Starbucks mugs. I used to have a collection from the 80's where they had a different mug for each blend. It was pretty amazing. I lost them somehow in moves. Don't mind the mess on the counter. And then I got bored of taking pics of mugs, and of taking clear pics, apparently...
@Darkbulb: Thank you very much. I bought the mugs in a store named "Poco". It´s a funiture store like IKEA here in Germany. Very cheap, but very nice i think.
It has a very 'wooden'/rustic look to it. Perfect for a cup next to a fire place in a cottage somewhere after been out skiing
Supposed to look like a tree with our initials carved. Another one he made had a little limb sticking out. He is an artist for sure.
Given to me probably 20 years ago by my boys for Fathers Day or birthday, can't remember. But the nut in the handle is great for spinning with the thumb.
My second son is in the navy, and he was a plank owner for the USS Ronald Reagan, CVN 76. He was a member of the pre-commissioning crew, so this is a special coffee mug for me.
I can totally see how that would make the mug special to you. I love items that have a special connection to the person - especially items that we get to use on a regular basis like a razor.....or a coffee mug....
