Nope, sorry. It's a Japanese Maple.

Nice, every bonsai my daughter tried to grow died, I think she inherited my genes. I hear it's a very relaxing activity that requires a lot of patience. I couldn't resist futzing with them too much for their own good.

 

Why is raising on bonsai so hard?

 

I am quite pleased with myself to present, tonight's meal of deliciousness...



That'll be a mini meatloaf (organic-fed 90/10 beef) with Italian bread crumbs, egg, a goodly dose of low sodium soy sauce, fresh cut basil, and ... BACON. This is the first time I've made my own meatloaf and I sorta invented the recipe as I went along. I must say it was -icious.

 

Looks like it will be delicious, but
