My coffee mug is just a plain old mug, but it has tremendous sentimental value to me. I bought this on July 15, 1983, the day before my wedding, as a wedding present for my wife along with the promise that I would always provide her with coffee and comfort. When she passed this was the one thing I could not bear to throw out. I have used it every morning for the past 10 1/2 years. It has traveled fully around the world twice - once east-west and once west-east, gone with me when I lived oversees, has been through 3 hurricanes and a house fire. It was there when I thought I would loose my daughter and there when I found out she would stay here. It has about 10,000 tears and 10,000 laughs. Don't ask me why I have kept it. I know it doesn't make sense.
Here is the coffee mug that my students got me as a present. They clearly understood the importance of having my coffee each morning before class started. Its serious business..lol. Sorry for the pic being sideways. damn camera phone uploads.
My 3 favorite mugs... My "Crappy day" mug... My "stalking you" mug.. which I made And my photog lens mug... and no I'm not really a coffee drinker.. more of a chai tea guy
This is my Favorite Coffee Mug. My daughter found it at a yard sale, She said she paid $.25 cents for it. She gave it to me for either my birthday or Father's Day 1997, the year before she died. It will hold 24oz. (3 cups)
I work for a company that designs military coms and we got to tour the Reagan a couple of years ago when it was in Coronado for some maintenance. Pretty cool.
