Today was the new Sam Seong copy of the Feather Artist Club razor. This is my second week with this razor and so far I love it! Light, maneouverable, short blade to get into tight corners, natural hold. I am using Feather Professional blades in it, and yes, day one saw significant blood, but day four, none at all. I like to shave with no scales to fold out of the way, but storing or travelling with it is another matter. At the moment, it sits in the soap mug handily and I'm in no rush to do anything different.
Le Minet Proraso homemade boar Fine Clean Vetiver I'm revisiting some soaps I haven't used in quite awhile. Nice shave this morning. Have a good one.
Theirs-Issard Le Dandy 69 Medaille Arg T 41, vintage, ?1930's to 1950's I just got this yesterday from Australia. I couldn't wait until Sunday to try it. I will continue with the Wm Elliot 7 day set through the rest of the week.
Griffon Cutlery 11/16—a real comfy shaver that cleaned up quite nicely from it's original 'ebay' condition...
My best guess is that it is but I'm unsure. Smells good, lathers readily and is slick. Not the type of lather I prefer but it could be the operator. I'll need to play with it a few time before I form a firm opinion.
I do like that Bavu! Last night, I used my 1932 Böker 5/8 square-point. My first SR, it is still one of my favorites. Nothing fancy or unique about it, but the razor just shaves so comfortably and I love the feel in my hand(s). I doubt I'll ever part ways with it.
Shaved again with the Wm Elliot this morning. After losing the sling on Monday and using both hands on Tuesday, I promptly cut myself nicely on the neck. I even used an electric on Wednesday. Today the neck had already healed and I have a better shaved face and neck.
You can still pick these up but prices are a little on the high side about $580 dollars the last time I looked.
Grelot Lotus Cella homemade horse Fine Clean Vetiver Very nice shave this morning. It turned out to be France week, I guess. Have a good one.
