Late posting my early morning shave because today is my son's 11th birthday and he was up early to open presents!

Lather: Nancy Boy

Razor: Gillette New LC
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge

I think the LC is a little more aggressive on my face than my short comb and thus the shave is almost too close! Got a little razor burn on my neck for the 3rd day in a row, so I will put this aside for my Short Comb and save this for days with more than 1 days growth of whiskers.

Yep, well….um…..I'm a bit overwhelmed right now with so many razors and so little time to devote to them. I'm not quite ready to quit my day job.

I have two of the Wostenholm I-XLs that I'll need to decide which to finish first. One will require additional attention.

I will again use the WTG-XTG-ATG method. Being as it has worked well and produces a great DFS Shave. I have not had any "Nick's or Weeper's" using this method. I will continue to using my Wilkinson Sword DE Blades until the weekend. Then on Saturday it will be a "NO Shave Day" I will put a different blade in my on Sunday of the sample razor blades. I also received some shaving soap samples and I will start using it on Sunday. I will also continue using my Weber Razor with a new Razor Blade. I will use a Polisilver Razor Blade. I will use it for the week and see how well it works for me.

2 pass shave this morning. Today is the first day of school with students at my school, so I thought I would try out a my hoped for routine of a 2 pass shave before school. Seems close enough. New SC razor has been parked for a week while I tried out the LC and I missed the SC. For my face and my technique, the Short Comb is the best razor I have found for both face and scalp shaving.

Another wonderful super-frigid shave this morning with a top-favourite soap that I love so much. The Glacial Lemon Chill has it all - the scent, lather, and powerful menthol effect which can knock you for a loop. I also love the 444 balm because not only is it very cold, it also moisturizes and soothes so well. The Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel is by far the coldest aftershave that I ever used - not even the Rubby Dubby Doo can match it.

today's shave was very good.I know if no way to do better. pur tech did good, feels different but performed nicely, seems very soft in the bowl, normal on the face. Jack Black is soft to start with. krono is a very nice razor, long and heavy handle, mild but efficient head. no complaints at all. finished with ice blue.

Coate’s Lavender Cream today. Great lather! NEW SC + VS=good smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished up with Canoe.

So Wednesday morning was rushed and hectic so I didn’t get to post a SOTD. And by afternoon I was engaged in other things so I decided just to focus on this morning...

They are both lovely looking blades. Hopefully you will be able to preserve their etchings.

Slow and steady seems to be working very well for your restores so far, I would not suggest changing that pace just because I (or someone else) is eager to see you restore and use a razor I have a biased preference for.

A comfortable 2 pass Darn Fine Shave +. The Cade worked very well this morning. The Prada EDT will keep me smelling great all day.

THURSDAY
Another late night shave last night.

I used my 'Blue Steel' 5/8 made by J.A. Henckels. This razor was one of those ebay bargains that, for some reason, gets missed or little attention from bidders. Only one other bid besides me and so I was able to pick it up for under $15. The razor is in very good shape, takes a great edge, light & maneuverable in shaving. All & all, quite a nice razor! Three-pass shave using the IK soap.
