I plan to relax today after working at the hospital all weekend. I think I will assemble a portable BBQ for a camping trip on Friday.
I'm usually a night shaver but I let my beard go over the last few days and I think I will shave it after the family leaves for the day.

Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

Another day with the nose to the grindstone, but it could be much worse. I've got a well paying job inside with AC. My dad worked in construction and I worked for him a couple of summers while in college. Construction jobs in Houston in the summer are brutal.

My day is starting off great! Wifey is brewing some Kenya coffee, a piece of toast, good to go.

    grrr...

Pulled an extra 20 last week, 13 of which was on my day off, just trying to pull off getting things ready for the teachers before they came back today. Didn't even take 2 days of my vacation, so I'll pretty much just lose those. And I've got at least 4 days of comp time I'm sitting on that I'll end up losing because I'll never be able to take them. I've been stumbling my way through my office because it's such a mess from just coming in and dropping stuff and moving on to the next asinine task before I have a chance to clean up. Then I got an email from the boss this morning: Board member saw your office. You need to clean it up.

It's good to have work. It's good to have work. It's good to have work. It's good to have work...

Wife and I made it to N.C. last last night. Saw more antique mall signs than I expected to see but she suggested we make one stop in W. Virginia. Several SEs and a few other DEs but a lot of stuff overpriced, imo...a $30 puck of Williams menthol, for example. However, I got away with an almost full $5 tube of Barbasol brushless and a $9 Super Speed, from around the time of the Black Tip, judging from the odd, collared neck. Anyway, with almost 4 days growth they both performed flawlessly last night coupled with a humble Dorco blade. Good shave.

I believe the correct greeting is either "Shall I shoot 'em now or shoot 'em later." Or, "Would you care for the l'orange or the cognac."

Mmmmm. Ducks are tasty. Water fowling is a pain in the butt plus it is hard to get the chihuahua to retrieve the goose.
