So, how long does it take for Rod from Stirling to process orders? I placed an order on the 8th, and still haven't heard anything. Maybe I'm just being antsy, but I wanna try my stuff
Well, it depends what Zone he's in, but generally he's available after half an hour counting commercials and all.
Thanks to Slacker Radio, I just discovered these guys... Quoth Wikipedia: Volbeat are a Danish rock band which was formed in Copenhagen. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal and rockabilly. They are inspired by classic rock and roll artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, as well as modern hard rock, heavy metal, alternative rock and hardcore groups. Just as a warning if anyone decides to listen: I don't know if they're actually satanic/death metal (not my thing), but some of the lyrics could at least be interpreted in that vein.
There comes a point when unprofessionalism reaches levels so high that something has to give. I don't try to do the teachers' jobs, and I expect the same courtesy in return. If admin doesn't back me up on this one, they might just be looking for a new computer monkey.
My daily drive to work has made me fall in love with living in the country. (Excuse the blur, I was going 130kph and holding my phone sideways towards my side window.)
Nice pic there Luke. Not sure of your specific area, but if you want an Acubra you might try to find a local hat shop. They might even ship if you're too far... ley & McCormick LTD 220 8th AVE SW • Calgary AB T2P 1B5 (403) 228-4024 • www.realcowboys.com Wei's Western Wear 5115 Gaetz Ave • Red Deer AB T4N 4B3 (403) 347-3149
You're antsy. I placed an order on the 6th, and got a email notice yesterday that it just shipped. One week turnaround isn't outrageous for a small 2-3 person mail-order operation—particularly if they're swamped with orders. They aren't Amazon. I think we're all spoiled by modern expectations of overnight delivery services and instant communication. I'm not excusing poor customer service, but I am sympathetic to small companies whose products are in demand and often struggle to keep up at times. I've had to wait 3 years for delivery of a custom-made guitar before. Small shop, high-demand, quality goods. Worth the wait.
