Looong day today that started at 4:00am. Ended with a doctors appt to see a specialist regarding my afflicted left wrist. He performed an Electromyography (EMG) test to see what if any damage was being done to nerves through the Carpal expressway. Not a pleasant test. Being an amateur house-hold electrician for years, I know all about the pleasures of get jolted by blasts of electricity. Needless to say, my left arm is aching. "You've got CPT" stated the doc. "No kidding…."mumbled me, grasping my tender arm. This was the last hurdle before I meet with my ortho surgeon and decide the route to take (painkillers or surgery?). Bring on the knife….after a year of this discomfort, I'm sooooooo ready!
Work can't end fast enough today. Going tonight to see the 2000 version of Godzilla starring Matthew Broderick at his Matthew Broderickiest. I have tried to watch this movie on 2 other occasions, and both times I literally fell asleep before the end of the first act and slept through to the credits. I'm hoping that tonight's live simulcast of the Riff Trax guys trashing the cinematic disasterpiece will be able to remedy that situation.

This was my night. It was great. Robin (in the floral dress), Megan (robin's best friend holding Leif), my best friend Josh (by Megan) and me on the far left with the brew. A great night at the in-laws.
