Robin and I actually quote South Park all the time. Mostly "Stan?! Stan?! Is that you Stan?!

 

Never having watched an actual episode, I am entirely clueless to the SP references.
But I'm okay with that.

 

You're not missing anything. I just happen to have seen the episode I referenced.

 

I report to work Monday so today's my last day off. Hit some local antique shops and found nothing except an indescribably bad Frankenrazor for $15. When asked in a few places what I was looking for, the response was the same: "Those are in very high demand, people in here all the time asking for them. They show up, but disappear just as fast." I choose to take that as a sign wetshaving is still increasing as much as mere flippage, but who knows. The word is out so apart from small, outta the way mom and pop shops, the less frequented places along interstates now seem better hunting grounds.

 

I work next door to city hall, and Portlandia was shooting an episode there all morning. I had a non-work related appointment in the building on the other side of city hall, so ended up having to walk through their mess a couple of times. If you watch Portlandia, they try and make it look like a small, low budget show. They aren't. They have more crew and cause more problems than Grimm does or Leverage did. Very glad that show is on its last legs.

I have had a pair of hawks being annoying as, well pretty darned annoying over the last month or so. This morning the screeching was louder than normal. I looked out the window and the two of them were about 10 yards from my house. One was in the bush, and the other was on the ground. I don't really like them that close to my house with a couple Chihuahuas running around it makes me nervous.

Dale, most likely you have enough mice and rat population in your area to support a nesting pair of hawks.

Best to keep the Chihuahuas indoors as much as possible.

 

My Schick Hydro-Magic arrived today. What a joke! This seller knew they were off loading junk. The return policy they have in place totally favors them. I'd end up losing money to return it. Live and learn..

 

Can you show off some pictures? Underside would be very helpful.

 

You have a right to be concerned. There have been cases of hawks getting small dogs.
But isn't it getting into migration time?
