Injector & SE Party !!!

I love the Hydro- magic....I would never want to be without one....looks like if Aston- Martin made a razor...... Those that know me well have heard me say that many times....But it does and the J type reminds me more of a classic Jag...

razorx called his "Hydro-zilla"....a monster who drives fear into the hearts of the residents of Whiskertown....

But in all reality, I never met a Schick I didn't dig...

 

I just bought my 4th injector. Schick Type G. I truly get the best shaves from injectors, no irritation or weepers! The blades seem to get better with each shave.

 

Darn! EBay global shipping program got my injector to Calgary already I'm probably gonna have it way before my blades!

I bought a Personna injector. Are they hard to load without a blade in it?

 

They can be, just like some Schicks are. I load a used blade into empty injectors to make loading a new one easier.

 

Can I use my fingers and slide one through?

I wouldn't. It's much safer to just put a used blade in it.

 

Listen to Tom and you'll be fine......Just load a used blade into an empty Injector...Then load it into the razor....Then use a new injector to easily load a fresh blade into your razor.....Thats the easy, safe way....we want no bloodletting at this Party....ha,ha...

 

I have been shaving with my Schick Eversharp I2 Hydro-Magic for the past ten days and having my own injector party. I was also piffed a couple of Gillette Platinum Plus Injector blades that I have been using. Thanks @maltedmilk. They are very nice. I've been getting great shaves with cold water and only two passes with no touch ups. The Hydor-Magic has become my favorite injector (for now).
Finding injector blades locally is very hard. I was using up my last blade when @maltedmilk sent me the pif. Anybody got favorite blade sources?

 

The HM is also my favorite injector as well. I can find the Schick blades locally in a few different stores, but they can be ordered on Amazon, ebay, and a few online shaving supply vendors.

 

Great shave today with my Type G! I'm going to have to get a hydro-magic that is a junker.

 

I got my last batch of Schick Injector blades from Walgreens.com, they are $6.50 a pack. But you get free shipping with a $25.00 order. You can do the math.

The one I just bought was broken. The seller unloaded it on me.. Cleaned up nicely.
