Tabac today. Always a winner! I slipped a new Rapira Swede into the Slim. I got an excellent smooth, close, and nick free shave. I finished with Tabac EdC.

Yeah it didn't stay for the last pass but it was so slick i went ahead anyway... weird but good.

Great shave today! The only thing that could have made it better would be not having to go into work. I'm back to going through my sample pack of blade, and today started the Bolzano's rotation. This is one of the more expensive blades I have, and I was eager to see if the price was justified. After a two pass BBS with a hint of irritation, this blade is not looking over priced. Now to see how long it lasts...

 

Yeah, I find that the camera giggle can be a real problem. The giggling really causes a lot of camera shake.

I grabbed my palmolive today instead of my usual french soap mix. The palmolive was originally a shave stick, but since I don't like using shave sticks, I mushed it into a container along with some Rose of Bulgaria and Glycerin. I like the palmolive, but just don't like using shave sticks in the way designed. I ended up with a nice 3 pass shave that left my face feeling smooth and soft.

Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair 23mm knot
Soap: Cella
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva classic ice blue after shave
Cologne: Aqua H2O

I did a "one pass and done" this morning. I had no reason to rush, but found myself rushing. I ended up with a nice nick under my chin from the straight. The Cella face lathered well. The Aqua H2O was a nice finish to an almost Darn Fine Shave.
