today's shave hot water wash with nivea men's art of shaving pure badger proraso blue conrad open comb persona lab(3) nivea a/s balm for sensitive skin today's shave was ok. everything went well. I used a Conrad open comb, from the box tour. never heard of it before. it was very mild, had to work to get a dfs. finished with nivea, just in case I worked it too hard. y'all don't work too hard, it's Saturday. happy birthday Razorburn.

Wostenholm and Son Celebrated I.XL Brush: Vie-Long Cream: Arko Extra Sensitive Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG) Post: Arko Extra Sensitive It's been a while since I've had a hot towel prep... lets hope it's a long time before my next one. I just can't seem to get a comfortable shave when I use a hot towel. I was looking forward to a hot shower, but someone started the washing machine. Guess I should have gotten up earlier. I've missed using a straight. It was a close shave, but not the most comfortable. I am please to say the the Arko Extra Sensitive did pass the "that stuff stinks, don't use it again" test with flying colors. Looks like it will be getting a permanent home in the den.
