A night and day difference between the Aristocrat and the Slim Twist. I can feel and hear the Slim Twist working, but no irritation. Any other razor I would have called it done after two passes and been more that happy with a DFS, but the mildness on the Slime Twist earned it a third pass, a combination of ATG and blade buffing. It's hard to be pleased with BBS results!

Amazing shave
Today I used two B&M samples a friend sent me. Thanks to Joey Knowles I had one of the best shaves ever. B&M makes an excellent aftershave. The scent is not cloven, nor too sweet, it's just right. It goes on like a splash, but feels like a balm. I can certainly see myself buying some. The soap performed like all other B&M soaps... Close to optimal. I bowl lathered the sample with my restored Rubberset, and the brush really shined when used this way.

I don't have words to describe how wonderful the Muhle silvertip felt and performed. It did perform like a badger but was the softest brush I have used.

I was there in the beginning of this month. This was breakfast one morning at Boudain's. Enjoy your trip!

I pulled out an old Gillette New Open Comb this morning that I haven't touched in about 6 months. I threw in a feather blade and.... Wow! What a shave. Extremely close after 3 passes and no nicks, weeps, or any irritation (No sting with Alum). Definitely a great shave today.

finish with cold water rinse for a CCS!

First open comb shave today. 3 pass WTG, XTG, GTX with results very similar to my 37C.

Prep: wash with Clear Essentials glycerin soap
Soap: HTGAM "Non Scents"
Brush: Plisson synthetic
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Astra SP
After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

Great lather from the HTGAM soap, as always. Comfortable shave for the last day before a holiday weekend. It's a cloudy, cooler day - hope it's not really the end of summer.

There is something magical about the TOBS creams. Amazingly smooth shaves every time.

Yup there is always next time. I wanted to wait another day to shave, but it's too obvious that I missed stubble. I'll just have to hit it again and be careful. All my best stuff is coming out for this shave. Glad to see you back Frode.
