I have been using the Stetson ASL a lot lately without realizing it. That must mean that I like it! ;) The 7 Seas SC is great stuff and provides a super cushion and lots of glide for the Klaas to do it's work. :happy088:

    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 30/45
    Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (F1) 1960 set on 6 and 3
    Blade: Feather (1)
    Cream: Castle Forbes Cedarwood Sandelwood
Mug: 1985 Cobalt Blue Old Spice
Post Shave: Thayer's WH Cucumber, Jack Black gel, Old Spice (Shulton) As

This is my favorite setup. The WD whipped up a fingernail size of the Castle in the OS mug, in a blink. I don't think I will ever go back to soap. Well there will always be Cella. WTG XTG on my face and WTG on my neck. I then change the setting on the FB to a 3 for XTG and ATG on my neck an upper lip. I did take more time than normal, but was just in a groove. Best shave ever, BBS. I like the cucumber WH with a follow up with the Jack after I clean up. I am now keeping the Feather, out of the cleaned FB for a second day. The OS is old Shulton from the OS stash my great Father in Law gave me. Another good day!:eatdrink047:

One of my better shaves in a long time. Been struggling in some areas, mostly upper lip for some reason.
I've been really unsuccessful with my Silvertip and hard soaps.
With this boar today I really whipped the best Arko in a long time.
The 5th. day on the Astra is still going strong. I can't see why I shouldn't surpass 7 on this baby.
Today’s macho shave was followed by a SWMBO/kid free evening binge-watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix :)

I was stationed at Fort Lewis, which is in Tacoma. I went to Seattle several times when I was there. I can't wait to get back up there now that I'm actually old enough to get into the bars and clubs.

Looks like it would be a great place for the younger crowd. It's a great sports town with the Seahawks and the Mariners as well as the other teams in Seattle. The bars and clubs appear to be a very social environment. If you get there again I think you will enjoy the experience. :happy108:

Funny thing - to me the Glacial Lemon Chill soap is every bit as cold as the Glacial Wintergreen. They both give a gold mine of some of the best lather I ever experienced. Never tried the Lemon Chill witch hazel, but one day I will. ;)

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream
    Made Rite Boar Brush
    Gillette Flare Tip, E3
    Wilkinson Sword Stainless
    CWR, Osma Alum Block
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Mennen Skin Bracer AS

I broke out the flare tip today. It has been over a year since I used it last. It performed flawlessly. The TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Made Rite Boar rush. Two passes with my Gillette Flare Tip and Wilkinson Sword Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Mennen Skin Bracer after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I like the Thayers cucumber but your pic has rose petal on it. Also I like those spray bottles, where did you get them?

I finished a bottle of Thayers cucumber last month and got me the Rose Petal at the local GNC. Fortunately both scents fade fairly quickly. I like using the WH though. I get the spray bottles at Target and Walmart. Check out this page: http://jrshaving.blogspot.com/p/label-making.html for label making information.

I got the Omega soap last winter and tried it once. Hated it. I tried it again in the Spring. Hated it. My turn for the box was coming up again so I wanted to try it again just to make sure. Really hated it. I think this may be the first Italian product I'm not a fan of.
