Shave of the day Pre- Hot shower + Homemade preshave oil Soap/cream- Nivea original shave cream Brush- Plisson synthetic Razor- Gem micromatic open comb Blade- Gem stainless steel(5) Post- Cold water rinse, Old Spice whitewater and Nivea aftershave balm 2 pass shave WTG, and some minor cleanup.3 days of growth. This razor gives me awesome shaves! BUT today my stubble felt a bit tough, I didnt do the same prep as usual, I was tired and was gonna work night so I took a quick shower. It feels like that should be enough though. Second time using Nivea shave cream, i might have needed a tad more water to make it slicker. Ended up with a close comfortable shave. Not even burning in mustache area!
9/4/14 - Late day shave Prep: warm wash with Stirling Naked & Smooth Lather: hobbyist IanS Lavender soap Brush: Vie-Long 13061M Razor: Gillette New LC Blade: Sharp Durablade Stainless (4 and 1) Post: cool rinse and Captain's Choice Bay Rum I had a very early warming, taking my son in for surgery on his foot at 5:30 a.m.. Needless to say, I did not shave before we went in. We we back home by 12:30 and then a bit of running around later left me feeling like I needed a face and skull shave desperately. I shaved my face first and had my blade start giving out during the 2nd pass. So I changed blades and got after my scalp. 2 passes on the face and 2 passes on the skull and I am feeling smooth.
Razor: Schick J injector Blade: Personna injector Brush: Muhle Black Fiber Lather: Dr. Dittmar Post: Omega balm Excellent shave. The Dr. Dittmar has the upper hand on Provence Sante in slickness and beard softening but is too harsh for daily use.
Lol. I'm 50 yrs old and live in Phoenix. That's pretty much my 'normal' scent. Actually, Ben Frank smells more like sarsaparilla or root beer than anything else - Don
Golddachs Spezial - nach meiner Meinung ist es eine absolut fantastische Seife! (Translation) Golddachs Spezial - in my opinion it's an absolutely fantastic soap!
Troy Here's hoping that his leg heals correctly and quickly. Also if he get's out of line take him out in the back yard and make him do 100 Squat Thrust's (a favorite DI punishment) just kiddin' I couldn't help myself.
