Being as "She Who Must be Obeyed" has another appointment on Thursday Morning, for physical therapy. I have already showered and shaved tonight before I get ready to go to bed tonight. I decided to use my Above the Tie Atlas R-1 88mm Kronos Handle again tonight,(30 day rule applies here) I again used the WTG-XTG-ATG method. Being as it has worked well and produces a great DFS Shave. I did get another BBS Shave again tonight. Also I did not have any "Nick's or Weeper's" using this method. Also I did another "Ice Cold Water Shave" it was another superb shave, with BBS results. I used to hate to shave with "Cold Water" but using "Cold Water" is almost like learning a new superlative way to produce Superb results. I will continue using my Wilkinson Sword DE Blades. I did put in a New Razor Blade tonight. I decided to make another pass with my Above The Tie Atlas R-1 88mm Kronos Handle I did 3 passes total this evening.(but I really did not need to make the 3rd. pass) I did get another "Rudy Castiel Clean Used Car" aka "Rudy Castiel Clean Shave" aka BBS Shave! Tonight I felt a little Razor Burn on my lower right side of my neck area, so I did use some RazoRock Alum Block, also again tomorrow in the morning I will also put on some Nivea Aftershave Balm, (if my neck still feels raw) before the Captain's Choice North A/S splash. In the morning I might use "Captain's Choice Lime" A/S. Being as "She Who Must be Obeyed" enjoys the scent of it. I think I will let "She Who Must be Obeyed" decide which A/S I use again. More than likely I will use Captain's Choice north. SWMbO enjoy' almost all of the after shaves I have. She likes the Stirling Ben Franklin PSO and the A/S so we will see. I went to my Orthopedic Doctor this morning. He had the results of the MRI I had done last month. He wrote a prescription for Physical Therapy for both my neck and my lower back injuries. So I faxed it to my lawyer and they will send it into the DOL for approval. Hopefuly the will allow me to go to the same Physical Therapy Facility that my wife goes to. "Ooh Rah" "Semper Fi"
Wednesday's Shave 2 min. Hot water whisker rinse Williams Mug Soap Omega 10029 1912 GEM Damaskeene GEM Blue Star d4, d1 1955 Eversharp Schick Hydro-magic EMS/Personna d? Ice Blue Aqua Velva/Aqua Velva Musk First pass WTG, with Dammy with a day4 blade Second pass XTG with Schick, a perfectly cool DFS was holding fast! Thursday Noon Shave Razor: Edwin Jagger DE8911 Blade: Rapira (3) Brush: Isana Men Pure Badger Soap: Arko AS: Barbasol Brisk Before the shave I noticed two black scratches on the handle. One of the scratch is visible on the picture above. Those scratches disappointed me but what's done is done. Maybe I shouldn't put my razors together in the same plastic box. There are no visible damage on other razors but EJ has. Anyway, the shave was ok. I had 3 weepers but no irritation or nick. I didn't use this safety razor for a log time maybe I forgot how to shave with it or my disappointment caused the weepers. Next time I'll compensate.
Thor's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Soap: Stirling Bay Rum Razor: FaTip Piccolo OC Blade: Perma-Sharp Super SS (2) Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (4, 5, 6) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Captain's Choice Cat o' Nine Tails AS splash Cologne: Gigember Estragone by Dr. Vranjes Early morning, early shave. I had no trouble creating a thick lather this AM with the Stirling Bay Rum, but I did space out on leaving it on my cheeks as long as would have been most helpful. The Perma-Sharp is still going strong, as attested by the fact that three passes in the wee hours of the morning with the Piccolo resulted in no bloodshed. Curiously, the Cat o' Nine Tails didn't produce any of its characteristic burn today. I'll still call a BBS shave without nicks, weepers, or irritation a good thing.
Thursday: Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Rapira day 4 Fume Lavender SS Booster Mosswood AS Santos de Cartier EdT My first shave without anything mentholated for at least four months and I actually enjoyed it a lot. This Fume Lavender soap has a very nice, relaxing scent with excellent, rich lather and very good skincare. I wonder if Can would be able to tell me anything about this soap because it's from Turkey. The Booster Mosswood aftershave is one of my favourites, and it's a Canadian barbershop classic which is not expensive. That Rapira blade is still performing like a champ - it gave me another awesome BBS shave.
Remembrance Day Today I will teach my students about the attacks of 9/11, and the heroic response of so many first responders. Many of my students have no memory of that day, so this will be a history lesson, while in the past it was a healing session. I recently traded for some Ginger's Garden soap, and today I used it for the first time. I'm not sure if I like the scent - it seems very sweet and boozy. There is no question about its performance, however. This is a top notch soap. I won't write a review yet, but it worked great today. My New LC made easy work of my stubble, leaving my face feeling very smooth and happy. I finished with HTGAM bay rum tonic, and it's menthol cool was welcome even on this cool morning. Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol Soap: Ginger's Garden Havana leather Brush: HIS Razor: Gillette New LC Blade: Personna lab blue (1) AS: HTGAM Bay Rum Tonic
9/11/14 Vie-Long 13061M IanS hobbyist soap Gillette New SC Supermax Platinum (5) Captain's Choice Bay Rum Last workday shave of the week and it went pretty well. I did end up with a few weepers, but 2 passes and DFS. I think I may take a shavecation this weekend.

SOTD September 11 Prep: hot shower Razor: WW2 Gillette Tech Blade: Bolzano (day 3) Brush: Vie-Long Soap: Proraso White Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG) Post: Witch Hazel, Dove Men hydrate+ Two quick passes today. If I would have taken my time or added some touch up, I might have gotten a BBS. Normally I shave my neck in a north to south direction followed by south to north. This does work for me, but hasn't been lately. I switched the order today. It wasn't any worse, and maybe a little better...
