Nothing dramatic today, but the weather was nice & the traffic was mercifully light, en route to the pro shop (needed a minor repair on my bow.) The repair was quick & they didn't even charge me for the time.

 

SOME GOOD NEWS...After nearly two months of runaround—and over a year wearing this cumbersome wrist brace— I am finally scheduled to go under the knife on the last day of this month...Sept. 30. Out-patient surgery where they'll sever the ligament constricting the carpal area nerves....
This will mean at least two weeks without use of my left hand, but the early estimate by the doc, per the severity of my current condition, I'm more likely to be back & up n' running BY two weeks; not the usual 4-6 weeks of recoup time.
I pray that this is so....

I won't miss this thing one bit....

Try holding & shaving with a straight razor while wearing this. Some fun, I tell ya...

 

I will. One thing I'm excited for is to start scouts next week with my oldest. I'm gonna be a volunteer leader.

I also have a few leads, but they won't come to fruition until October. :/

That must be awful to wear, as bad as my knee brace. I'm glad you have a date. You'll be in my prayers buddy!

 

Been there and done that twice. One thing I can tell you. It is perfectly fine to allow your body to heal. You want this done right and to heal right so if it is 4-6 weeks then don't push it. Your body, and if you fully communicate your condition after the procedure with your surgeon, will let you know when it is time to get back at it.

May the Lord bless the surgeon in his work and you to have a full recovery.

I was in Gothenburg and Stockholm this weekend. Amusement park in Gothenburg and Pharrel Williams concert in Stockholm =D great weekend with my girlfriend!

She planned the weekend awesomely. I really found the best woman!

I don't know about Canada, but here in New Jersey employers don't need any reason at all to fire someone. All legal.
