How's Your Day? -- Sept. 2014

You are up very early for a retiree.

I didn't sleep very well last night and got out of bed at 4:15 instead of the usual 5:15. Now I'm showered, shaved and browsing the internet at 5:15. Hopefully I'll be productive today, and not just get sleepy in an hour.

 

It was packed!

 

2 things:

1. Go to see the head shrinking doctor today. I'm a bit anxious about that. Things feel a bit "off" lately, and I'm not sure how to broach the topic, and I'm afraid of what will happen when I do. I hate to think about having to adjust my meds again.

2. When did Leonardo DiCrapio become Orson Welles?

 

Leo needs to lose weight and shave, but he'll never be even close to Orson Wells. There, I've said it.

Busy day. I was up early to take Hubby to the airport (business trip.) Since getting home I have made 4 pounds of soap, run laundry & repaired some arrows. Finally, I get to sit down.

 

I finally tied a cherry stem with my tongue.

 

Had jury duty today. Got picked on a first degree murder and second degree kidnapping case, but the defense excused me, so I'm done for two years.

 

So that's what they're calling girlfriends these days, huh?

 

Wow, too bad. That sounds interesting.

 

How true! But now I've had a night's sleep & I am up & hopping again.

 

So, I'm applying for an at home job today. 30 hours a week $11.50 an hour. We need this so bad. Keep your fingers crossed.

Tomorrow morning, the countdown starts...
A morning pre-op visit to the orthopedic surgeon to ensure everything is as it should be before I go under the knife next Tuesday.
I suppose they want to see if I've developed cold feet regarding going through with the surgery.
Oddly enough, though, it's my wrist that need help. My feet are fine.
