    Brush: Vie-Long Lord Randal
    Razor: Gillette New SC
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp carbon (4)
    Post: Proraso Green

After 31 days of one soap, I decided to change up a bit and went with the Bigelow. I like the coolness and the scent is not overwhelmingly menthol or eucalyptus so I don't feel like I'm shaving with vaporub or icy hot. Easy lather and 2 easy passes. One little nick on my neck because I quit paying attention to what I was doing for just a second.

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: Weishi 9306

    Cream: Musgo Real Classic
    Passes: 2(WTG, XTG, ATG)
    Post: Proraso blue cream

Seeing as it has just about been one year since I started traditional wet shaving, I thought I'd go back to my original gear. I wasn't sure if traditional wet shaving was going to work for me, so I tried to keep my initial investment low. Well it turns out the traditional wet shaving does work for me, and despite the low dollar value of my beginning setup, these are still some good products.

The lather started out wet and airy, but it didn't take much before it was ready to shave with. I had forgotten about the scent from the Musgo Real. I'm not very good with scents, the only way I can describe the Musgo Real Is it reminds me of shaving... doesn't get more appropriate then that.

I've been on a blade safari as of late, so had forgotten how much I enjoy the Astras. Paired with the mild Weishi, and easy two pass DFS.

    Tuesday:
hot shower w/Old Spice scented body wash
    Somersets PSO
    Gillette Senator 2 passes
    Gillette Silver Blue (2)
    VDH deluxe boar
    TSD Old Spice Type soap
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Old Spice AS

Same razor and blade as yesterday but had the time to do 2 passes and got a very fine result. Probably the best shave to date with either my Senator or Sheraton razors. Not sure if I'm just getting a feel for it or if the Silver Blue did the trick but maybe a little of both.

Prep: Hot shower with L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash, home made PSO
Razor: Stahly Live Blade black and gold, Dubl Duck Goldedge straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (3)
    Brush: Turkish #6
    Soap: L'Occitane Cade
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva classic Ice Blue after shave
Cologne: Bond No. 9 - NY Oud

I have decided to turn this into Stahly Live Blade week. The black and gold does not vibrate as vigorously as the chrome, but it did it's job well. I face lathered the Cade to a yogurt like consistency that protected my face and left it feeling good. The AV brought the chill and the NY Oud will keep me smelling good all day.

    Have a blessed day!

My Turkish #6 is in the USA now. It looks like I may get it tomorrow. I am excited. Do you like yours?

    BTW. That Stahly is awesome.

I like the #6 so much that I have 3 in my rotation. I also ordered a dozen of them last year before Christmas so I could add them to the Christmas presents for the guys.

The lather I get is just thinner than the lather I get with, for example, any of the Ginger's Garden soaps; it's slick enough and provides decent moisturizing (though my face felt dry yesterday), but it doesn't 'cover' my cheeks in the way that other soaps or creams do, whether I use my typical wet brush or start with a drier brush and add water as I go. Speaking of other soaps and creams:

    Tyr's Day:
Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Beeline Boar
    Cream: Godrej Lemon/Lime Fresh
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Dorco 300 (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (4, 5, 6)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Aveeno Active Naturals ASB
    Cologne: Burberry Brit by Burberry

I was surprised to note that the Godrej cream, coupled with a boar brush, provided more cushiony lather today than the Stirling Glacial Obsidian did yesterday, in less than half the time. The roughness of one of the edges of the Dorco-300 seemed to be gone today, making for a very comfortable shave. As I noted above, my face felt a little dry, so I figured it might be willing to absorb the Aveeno balm, but as is typical for me, it would not actually absorb into my skin.

That "all natural" jacks the price up. The after shave balm was a little pricy but lasts a long time, and my face likes it.

I had a great two pass shave last night.

I used something that 99.9% of you have never seen, used, or heard of. This Ingram Extra Cool comes from Egypt. It took the place of the Blue Ingram cream that was made in Egypt. The UK Ingram is still being made.

The lather and skincare are out of this world. It also has a lot of menthol too. I gave my SE'S a good run, but I think I am going to stick with my Schick Krona from now on. The shave is much more comfortable and doesn't tear up my neck. I'll revisit SE's later on.
