Three shaves and I toss it. I swear that I can feel a difference on my second and third shaves, and I like the blade to be as sharp as possible. Honestly at the cost of blades I might just start using a fresh blade for each shave.
I'm a one and done guy when it comes to blades. At .15 cents a blade, it is not worth the worry for me.
I agree with you 100% on that. I was wondering as I read this thread why I even bother using a blade more than once.
I'd thought about doing one and done, but I've found that on the blades I like, shaves 2 and 3 are better than the first.
I'm just OCD about umm, err, uh, oh yeah, every little thing! I'm using 7 O'clock sharps and could probably get more than 3 shaves out of them, but swear they're not as sharp after the first shave.
I've never tried Sharks, but Voskhods always felt a little rough to me on the first shave and smoother on the next shave.
Same for me. I use Astra. I toss them after two shaves. At $0.14/blade I do not see any reason to try and squeeze any more out of them.
Send me your address and I might. Also, I might not. But I've got both of those that I was going to put in the travelling box that I can just as easily send your way tomorrow.
I just realised that about ten seconds after I made my last post Although its good we clarify this, don't want some poor newbie ripping his face to shreds trying to stretch out the use of a blade... "just 25 more days then I can change the blade and have good shaves again" Wait a minute... that's exactly what I told myself when I used the Gillette fusion.

I'm with Fram on this one. I don't care how cheap they are, I use them until they tug or pull. Might be 3 shaves, might be 7 or 8. I've seldom gone beyond 10. I do 3 passes with touch up.
