Anybody have any idea what the situation is with this razor? I have checked the IB site and out of stock.
He is releasing 200 prototypes ... Version 2.0 I guess. They started yesterday's lot. I missed that batch. He hasn't said if each lot is 50 or 100. The last two days they have sold out in less than a minute. It is crazy. I just got lucky. Had the IB site on in the background of my office PC. All of my info on this topic comes from following Joe on Twitter. If you're not the Twitter type, I'd be happy to let you know if he announces more lots being released from this batch
The stainless prototypes are all gone. It is not yet clear if he is going to production with those based on cost. My understanding is that he wants to perfect the aluminum before moving on. The stainless one is crazy heavy!!! 136g or 4.8oz. Most people are saying that it is quite a bit more aggressive than the aluminum.

That's crazy! I gave up trying to get a RR Slant. I went with iKon 5 piece DLC and haven't looked back. Plus I have a Merkur 37c. I'm good. Good luck to all!
