    So, on top of the application I put in for the at home job... I was at Steak'N'Shake eating with my mother-in-law today, and an ex coworker I used to bus tables with there is now a manager. He looked at me and said "We need you back. Tell me right now and I'll get you an interview." (I was their fastest bus boy, dish, fry cook, and dish washer, and fountain they had for a while) I'm not quite sure what I want to do.

    I don't think you should leave money on the table, take the job, as long as it's an increase from what you were making. Since you are a valued ex -employee.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like working and making $ beats sitting around not making $. Doing that doesn't mean you can't keep trying to do something else too.

    The biggest issue is shift work, finding daycare, and making enough to maybe more than the cost of daycare. At a diner it will take months to achieve that.
