    Razor: Personna Floating Head Injector
    Blade: Personna PTFE
Brush: GDCarrington custom ACE silvertip badger
    Lather: MWF

Strange... I got itching on my face and a burning sensation. I'm not sure if I am developing an allergy to MWF which I previously used just fine or this new badger brush (which has seen some use with no ill effects either).

Late night shave last night: i had not planned on it but since i had just finished the restore on this little Larkin 2-inch blade, curiosity got the better of me. The razor honed easily and using a combo of Stirling super menthol and L'Occitane Cade, the shave was quite smooth! :)

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream
    Semogue 1305 Boar Brush
    Gillette NEW SC
    Shark Super Chrome (1)
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Mennen Skin Bracer AS

The TOBS Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Gillette NEW SC and Shark Super Chrome blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. It was exceptionally smooth and fine. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Mennen Skin Bracer after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It's certain. I'm a DE or straight shaver. I just couldn't get the hang of SE's. Even if my angle and prep were on point, it was still too rough for me.

Another great shave with Cold River Savon No.1 and Myrsol Formula F. No nicks or irritation. 2 pass BBS.

    SOTD September 30, 2014 -- posting it a bit late :)

Prep: Hot shower. Neutrogena face wash. Noxzema.

    Brush: Van Der Hagen Badger.

    Lather: Arko.

Razor: 1967 Birth Year M4 Black Handle Super Speed Flare Tip

    Blade: Personna (Kroger branded).

Post: Cold water; Razorock Alum Block; C.O. Bigelow Dr. Galen Herbal Witch Hazel Skin Tonic No. 010.

    After: Florida Water.

Great shave this morning. The Florida Water came in via UPS just in time for me to try it out with this shave. Can't say that it was as good a shave as my other birth year razor (a Slim) but not bad.

As for tomorrow and the first day of OCtober, having some trepidation. So far my experimentation with the OCMMs has been a bust, so I'm left without a viable Open Comb... At least until later this week when my Cooper MonoBilt is slated to arrive.

I have a feeling at least one of my OCMMs is going to find its way into the Box Tour.

The Proraso White is one of my favourites because it works so well with my sensitive skin. Great scent too and it makes a good lather,

    Too much touch up
For the most part, this was a great smooth shave, but I did too much touch up on my neck so that is a bit tender and sore. Lavanille and Gondolier pair well together. The soap does not seem to bother any AS I've chosen.

    Prep: ATG
    Soap: B&M Lavanille
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Gillette New LC
    Blade: Personna lab blue (2)
    AS: HTGAM Gondolier AS/Cologne

Not even a professional barber could have given me a better shave than this because I'm so BBS. My Super Speed which dates back to the 1950's did the job like a champ, with the help of the Sharp blade on its third day. Irena's Ice Mint soap smells so nice and lathers up so easily and richly with a good menthol sensation - not powerful, but very, very pleasant. The Floid Classic aftershave is really cooling and soothing. I also like its old-school barbershop scent and skincare. ;) :D
