Looks like they are referring to Hot Towel Treatment. Putting a hot towel on your face before you shave, here, in between each pass.

I use a very hot towel before shaving for several minutes, then I do a trick I learned from one of Glens videos.( for you newbies that would be "gssixgun") I lather and hot towel again and re lather. Try it, it works nicely. Thx again to Glen
