Gave my freshly honed troublemaker, a 5/8 unbranded straight made in Solingen, a try today. It's still not right. A few red spots, some razor burn, Jesus, that AS did burn like hell today, I nearly jumped through the ceiling...

The use of the Super Speed is a real departure for me, as I shave with a Merkur 1904 or HD almost all of the time. The SS did a great job and I believe if I stayed with it I could get consistently great shaves.
