Surprised they didn't tell you to throw out your tooth brushes as well. Strep is bugger. My boys stopped getting strep or sick at all when we had their tonsils taken out. It was like flipping a switch. Not even a common cold since then.

Well still no job prospects. Its been 3 weeks since I was let go. Its crazy too...I've networked with everyone I have come across. Robert Half (finance headhunting firm) has told me they are really excited to meet with me...they've been saying that for 3 weeks. :/

Anyway just got off the phone with a friend who works at one of the Big 4 firms and he said he'll send me job postings, get me in touch with his internal recruiter and that he and the partner over his division will talk me up to anyone in his firm. So that's good.

Other than that, my wife's really I'll, I'm drooling over the thought of picking up a RK-R25, and I have a migraine. So life is normal. ;)

What do you do to keep cold? Why does the power go when it's hot?

You do nothing. It could be anything from a squirrel on a line, to a transformer. I do know we aren't in what's called "rolling black out" that's when an area is randomly selected for a black out. No power..

What happens if a squirrel is on the line? Does it explode?

Why do they do that? "Rolling black out"?

It's gone. So the entire system doesn't fail. It doesn't happen very often, we get warnings, rolling blackouts are a worst case scenario. But it has happen.

Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

The power company installed smart meters in my area, of course I have to pay an added fee for the benefit of allowing them to selectively cut off my power whenever they want to. This allows them to have rolling blackouts to residential customers only and not affect businesses and public institutions.
