What are you waiting on to arrive...?

Every time I see a replated New, its so beautiful, I'm really thinking about doing it.

 

I ordered some blades from tryablade.com and got an email this morning that they're being shipped. Unfortunately, to my old address. I hope the Post Office will forward them. If not, it was only a little more than $5, so live and learn. I have since fixed all the mailing addresses still in my PayPal account. That old address was associated with an attached credit card and I couldn't delete it. I don't know why it defaulted to that address though. D'OH!

Now waiting on a metal-knob Schick Krona. Scored it for $4.99 tonight on the Bay with a low-ball bid that I didn't think would hold up

 

Ok, I had to do it. I just picked up an Olive Wood brush handle on the bay. It sized at 25mm so I will have to look at getting a knot to fit. This will be fun but will be my first brush build. I will take actual measurements when it gets here. I really like my WD 30/45 Silvertip, so I'm thinking of getting a knot from Larry.

 

Coincidentally, I almost did this exact same thing today—but I became distracted and never clicked to buy….Oh well—Now I can live vicariously through your experience!

 

Another 'oldie' which should be arriving in a few days. I love the looks and bringing new life to these old Sheffield blades—(this one dates circa 1850-1870); 3/4 — 11/16" width 'For Barber's Use' stamped on the blade. I'll need to make some new scales for this old timer…

A have multiple resources set up in PayPal and one of them is a default, that I don't want to use all the time. When you link to PayPal to pay for something look at the card that is set to pay. At that point you can click on it which will give you the option to change what card you want to use. If you want to delete a card you have to call the Customer service line at PayPal. They are actually pretty good.
