several soaks in scrubbing bubbles and a toothbrush scrub, a light, I repeat , LIGHT once over with Brillo. used a dental pick lightly in some crevices that had thick gunk. another toothbrush scrub with dish soap. finally a nice wipe and hand buff with metal polish. a little work but entirely worth it!
Holy crap that thing cleaned up awesome! Congrats on a great find. Would love to find a nugget like that one.
