How come you got a 22 mm and not 24 mm? =) it seems like most people get a 24mm, maybe a bigger is better for face lathering I don't know. How is the size?

I have a 20mm WD and I love it. Anything larger really just gets in my way. I found it harder to rub in the lather with a larger brush without getting it into my ears, etc.

    TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream
    Semogue 1305 Boar Brush
    Gillette NEW SC
    Shark Super Chrome (4)
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Mennen Skin Bracer AS

The TOBS Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Gillette NEW SC and Shark Super Chrome blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Mennen Skin Bracer after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

John, the lather guru, Beeman, sent me a sample of rose made by Cyril R Salter. it was heavenly, lathered great, plenty slick, and smells very nice.
reminds me of cowboy coming in from riding the range, going to the hotel, ordering a room a hot bath,a shave. when I use the rose scent, this scenario comes to mind.
that and it smells like my grandmom.
I think the Cyril R Salter comes from your side of the pond, shipping may be easier.

    Prep - Noxzema
    Lather - Craftsman Unscented
    Brush - Semogue 1250
    Blade - Personna Red
Razor - FrankenNEW (NEW LC Head/Weber Bulldog)
Post - Dove Men+Care Hydrating Balm

The lather could have been better. I hadn't shaved my head in a while. I must say I quite like the NEW LC. I coupled it with my spare bulldog handle and boy oh boy what a beaut. I might just be brave enough to try it with a Lab when the Red is done. So far the only razor in my small rotation I am not very fond of is my SS. It can give a decent shave but way to much work and not close enough.

    Razor: Personna Floating Head Injector
    Blade: Personna PTFE
Brush: GDCarrington custom ACE silvertip badger
    Lather: MWF

Comfortable shave. The Personna Floating Head does move but I find only on my chin where it is a firmer surface.

    FRIDAY
    Evening Shave For Tomorrow

I had very interesting shave this evening as I used two very similar razors—both for the first time.
One, a Case Red Imp, 6/8 square point, (pictured below) and the other, another Case Red Imp, 5/8 square point.
I honed both razors earlier today, using the same hones and a comparable number of laps with the only exception being the finishing hone. On one (the larger 6/8 Imp) I used a vintage Escher water hone; and on the other (the smaller 5/8 Imp) I used my newly-acquired Apache Strata natural stone. Both did an exceptional job of providing an extremely smooth, comfortable edge on the two razors. I'll have more details on the honing and comparing the two stones tomorrow in THIS thread. The MdC provided great lather as I alternated between the two razors for three passes. What a great shave!

    Have a blessed Friday, everyone!
