ooh, that one's worth it just for the cool bowl. Man that stuffs expensive though, isn't it?

Roger & Gallet are in the same ballpark for me, meaning the bowl is freakin' cool.

    Thanks, guys!

Yeah, the bowl is pretty expensive... pretty darn expensive to be exact :rofl

But, if you're quick, you can order it at the gentlemans-shop for 40 quid (Pounds), that's 25 quid off the regular price. Taking into account that the old price of 65 quid was on the lower end of what the bowl goes for, you might just pay half the price of what you pay elsewhere ;)

But you have to be quick as it's their "January sale" ;)

Let's see, $98 for a bowl and soap or $12 for the same soap without the bowl (at menessentials).

How does it shave? If it's a good soap, I'll spring $12 for the soap, but not the extra $86 for the wood bowl.

...$86 can buy a lot of shave stuff. ;)

You didn't ask me, but I hate leaving a question unanswered, that I know the answer to. Hope you don't mind. :ashamed001

That is moviemaniac (Klaus) himself, in his avatar.

    +1 on that ;)

    :D

@Joshua: It's not just a bowl, it's Wenge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wengé) and looks absolutely adorable. Normally I'd also buy "just" the refill but sometimes the price ain't everything ;)

Neale, does that soap give a good cooling effect?

Hi Jeff, to me the menthol effect is Very mild.......I was hoping it was somewhat intense, it does make a nice lather, and provides a nice shave but doesn't have the menthol kick I was hoping for.

Still a nice soap, I bought it on sale for I believe about $8.00 ;)

Ahhhh, ok, Neale, I know what you mean--it's like a subdued kind of menthol feeling.
