You'll find other blades that use the same type of storage container, take blades out, put PLB in.

Or just use a vintage blade box.

I believe the wrappers on the Labs are slightly wider thus not allowing them to be out into a cheapo plastic "case". However I will see if this will work.

I suppose when you travel you need to think out of the box, maybe a band aid box, unused pill container, or use a different blade while you are on your travels. Thanks for checking Mark! :happy088:

That reminds me of a Zippo lighter. Perhaps go to a flea market or swap meet, find an old zippo and pull everything out of it. That'll leave you a hard, sturdy case that I'm quite sure you can fit plenty of blades into it. Just an idea.

He has that blade holder, a zippo frame would be basically the same thing. He wants something modern.

If your looking for something that will hold spare blades, but isn't exactly beautiful. I've used repurposed floss containers. The part inside the box, that holds the floss and lets it play out and then cuts it, will come out easily and then you have an empty box that will hold your spare blades with a closeable lid. Get two and then you will have one for fresh blades and one for used blades. The floss containers come in a couple of sizes.
The best thing about these containers is they work, their cheap and their everywhere! So if you lose or break one it is absolutely "no big deal"! :happy088:

I used an Altoids Smalls tin to hold a few blades in when I traveled. It worked great before I found a vintage tin. If you can find one, the vintage tins are perfect and of course have the cool factor.

No worries. The Zippo is a good idea.

The problem with using a Zippo lighter case is that the lid will only stay open or closed with the inside unit in place. It has the cam attached to it that holds the lid open and closed..:)
