Movie: Pete Kelly's Blues Song: Sugar - Peggy Lee Plus an extra ... Jack Webb in a Trailer for this movie.
Wow! I love it....Tell you this....Jack looked more like he was really playing, than Sammy did in "A Man Called Adam" and Sammy could play a little trumpet....But I know Jacks a perfectionist....Also Gary, did you know Jack was married to Julie London? So I'm sure he knew his Jazz. And years latter after she remarried Bobby Troup the piano player and they needed work he hired them both for that TV show he was producing called "Emergency".... I've always respected Jack Webb...a real talent and a real class act.....b ut those are, "Just the facts..."
Yes. I did know he married Julie London. Jack stated in the trailer above that he did practice finger movements even though as he mentioned that not a lot came out of the horn. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/last-movie-you-watched.38013/page-27#post-733949 Emergency brought London and Troup to a larger audience but obviously the show was focused on the medical drama and not on their musical talents.
Sergeant Howie goes home singing and casts it in the pagans' teeth, "The Wicker Man," 1973 (jump to 4:00 for a bit of it).
