NO-Variation NOVember - one razor, one brush, one setup, one month. Can you do it?

Day 1: My shave for November 1, 2014

I am going Utopia 3pc, Voskhod blades, Proraso green soap, Omega 48, cool water shave, TSD Subzero + Skin Bracer. Alum block per usual.

I am in for November.

 

Gonna have 30 days of the same pic?

 

Not hardly!

In some ways it makes it easier by not having to type new information (cut and paste) so I could make pictures in advance.
It will be a creative challenge to make things fresh.

pics are difficult for me,so y'all may get a few repeats seeing its gonna be the same ssetup all month.

 

Here is my kit for the next thirty days, forgot to throw the Personna Labs in the picture. The razor is a Gillette Fat Handle Tech, prewar vintage.

That's a good idea. I think I'll do that too. Evey razor, every type of blade, every soap, cream and aftershave.

And here's my setup for NO-Variation NOVember:

 

I posted my pic before my shave this morning. After the shave, I might not be able to keep going with the Maca Root. I've always found it just a little on the drying side but today I had some itchy burning from it. So one day in and I guess I've already failed. After I figure out the software for tomorrow, I'll try to post a new pic.

Edit: Took a look in the soap/cream box and I'm going with this tomorrow. Never used it before so we'll see what happens

 

I hope you will not try that all at one single setting.

In my opinion one of the very best shave sticks available.

 

Here's my decided kit for November. I let the little lady pick it all out for me.

She did a good job. I lucked out with the razor, it's like 9 razors in one. I will try to stick to the same settings each shave though.
