NO-Variation NOVember - one razor, one brush, one setup, one month. Can you do it?

Well, hopefully the female recruiters at this thing dig my XTG nick on one of my cheeks.

The aftermath of aforementioned shave. I'm taking atleast a 2 day break, maybe 3. Then back to Shavette WTG/DE the rest and so on. Do I look like a graduating senior Finance major at a California State University itching for a job? Haha. That with black pants. It wasn't the shirt I wanted, but it was the shirt that fit. Just a normal blue poplin shirt from Costco.

 

Do the shaving gremlins magically move your setup at night, or do you set things up?

 

No gremlins. It's just me. I am kinda enjoying this NOVember thing.

A rare 24 hour interval...great shave on 2pass DFS...

This is turning into another 30day Rule (I did one in OCT). I am finally competent and confident to try every day. so far so good!

 

For 6 November turnabout is fair play ... for the photo that is.

If anyone would have suggested a year ago that I would enjoy shaving every day, I would have been convinced that they were crazy. Or if someone said that I would be active on this place for 10 months that would definitely be written off as madness.

But here I am, enjoying shaving and taking pictures in my bathroom and posting then online. Okay, that does sound a little crazy when I type it up.

 

Friday's Setup

 

I don't think I can do it anymore... Lol

After my 2 day hiatus from shaving to rest my skin, I'm gonna have to shave with a new setup. I don't think my skin likes this shave soap for everyday use,,, maybe just on Sundays as it smells great but is kinda hot on the skin.

Which Hazel, Menthol Crystals and a small 1/4 inch piece of Styptic pencil which contains Titanium Dioxide rather than Alum. Works better for me than the commercial liquid styptic.

7 November Shave

I just started with DE shaving the end of October out so I only have one kit and I'm sticking with it for a while. Shouldn't be hard to make it the whole month of NOVember: EVOO, Cade Plisson, Arko stick, EJ DE89, Supermax Platinum, Olay Complete (the wife's).

 

Good effort! Hope the face feels better soon. Not every soap works out for everybody.

I do witch hazel plus menthol...interesting formula.

Just curious. I see these people still in this thing: GDCarringtin, Jayaruh, RaZorBurn123, necrotic, Bama Samurai, dscarver and ME.

Anybody else still out there? Or are we the only shavers with enough fortitude (read "crazies") to do this?

Not only am I still in, I am still on the same blade. I clean and strop it on my forearm after each shave. We'll see how long that goes.
