I could not pass this up NIB. This will be my first SE razor! and I will give it a try.

 

That looks like a trac II... They're excellent shavers, I use Personna Twin blades on mine.

 

Cool! I think a trac II was my first razor. It was either that or an injector. This could be fun, thanks!

 

I've been waiting, but look what was in the mail today. I ordered them on October 15. I didn't know at the time they were coming from Thailand. I will try them out after NOVember is over.

 

I have that brush and handle, it shaves great.

I decided I wanted to try a Segal, I will either try trimming blades or making a steel die to punch them out.

 

@mikewood let us know how that works out if you do the die thing. I love that Segal but won't bother with trimming blades. There's been enough bloodshed.

 

If we based these threads on needs vs wants, it'd be a ghost town around here….

Im waiting on a Merkur 37c, a tub of Cyril R Salter Wild rose shave cream, a chunk of Klar Kabinett shave soap, a Schick razor and some smaller surprises from Kerry. It all started when I told him I wanted to buy his Merkur 37c razor... My friend Kerry is too generous sometimes, a truly great friend =D the package should be here any day now. Man! International shipping is slow

Absolutely. Slants are great razors that regrettably have a notorious reputation as being 'face maulers'—particularly by those who have never even used one! I found them to be highly-efficient and quite easy-to-master, quality shavers...
—despite what you may have heard to the contrary.

 

Slants are very efficient - just don't slip.
