NO-Variation NOVember - one razor, one brush, one setup, one month. Can you do it?

Here is my shave kit starting tomorrow, Dec 1:

RazoRock Fresco SC
Simpson 46B brush
Gillette Old Style, 1918
Astra SP blade
Alum block
Lucky Tiger AS and Tonic

I may be quite awhile with the Gillette Old Style, I did not have a chance to get the hang of it before NOvember. Will want to try about three different blades in it.

Gents, it's been fun! November pretty well coincided with my 30 day rule so it wasn't as hard for me to resist. My technique improved loads over the past month. Tomorrow, I think I'll try a new badger and a 1970s Superspeed I picked up on ebay. Will stick with Arko and the supermax platinums (since I'm still learning I figured its best to make incremental changes). Good luck to the rest of you in your adventures, shaving and otherwise!

 

Postponed my intended 12/1 razor (Merkur 1904) due to a hurried schedule. Took out my trusty '58 Exec. Instead of an old trusted friend the razor was a total stranger. What a miserable, irritating shave! I fear this is a byproduct of the No-change November. Back to school!
