I'm going to try Eskimo Tuxedo tomorrow morning and see how I handle the glacial level menthol. I like a menthol cooling sensation but I haven't tried anything with this much menthol in it yet.

Let me know how it lathers. Being a Glacial soap, I guarantee it'll freeze the hell out of you! ;)

If it's anything like the glacial spearmint I'd suggest wearing goggles.

Every Glacial soap I've used has the same menthol amount in it. These soaps are enough to make a penguin want to wear a fur coat!

I will likely be using Glacial Spearmint myself, tomorrow.

The next time Rod brings that one back I want to buy a puck. It's awesome.

Well Menthol Monday became Menthol Tuesday but this morning I tried the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo and it was exactly as described by @Dapper-in-a-can-man

Super cold and smells just as good as SDM but with a hint of menthol. I loved the feeling on my face but I have to be honest and admit it was almost uncomfortably cold on some of the more sensitive parts of my neck.

Overall this soap is definitely a keeper and has gotten me interested in trying some other mentholated soaps.

Tried "Road To Elba" for the first time this week.

    A very different Stirling soap.
This is more like a 'green, spongy-croap-soap'.
I'd have to say it's not an 'attractive looking' soap when you open the tin :)

But, putting that aside - the soap smells great and lathers really, really well.
It's a different lather from Stirling's other soaps though - it seemed, to me, to be more slick and 'wet' and not as 'foamy'.
It provided a great shave and I'll be using it again.

    Out of ALL 10-15 Stirling soaps I've ever tried there are only two soaps that I'd never use again;
    - Rose, and
    - Sandalwood.

Both due to highly subjective reactions to their scent (I did not like how they smelled) - they performed as great as any Stirling soap normally does.

I've absolutely got to get that new Glacial soap. If not the suspense will be too much for me. Meanwhile, for tomorrow it'll be Glacial Obsidian or Glacial Wintergreen which are also both killer-cold soaps.

    Barbershop.

I think this is the best soap yet. Previously Bonaparte was my favorite. BS is a nice light almost baby powder fresh scent that builds really great lather that is super slick. I think it's the slickest lather I have tried. I am going to really be sad to see this soap go. It does seem to be getting used up quicker than the other soaps in their line. It could be a touch softer and so loading the brush faster but it's well worth it to get the slickness.

I agree. I have been using a bunch of good sample soaps but Stirling Barbershop is the one I seem to look forward to more than any other brand or scent. I just placed an order for a handful of items but most importantly Barbershop and SDM bath soap and aftershave.

If I could ever break out of my damned menthol addiction (which I doubt!) I'd definitely want to buy the Clubman and Barbershop soaps. In the meantime the Glacial Lemon Chill soap gave me such a delightfully frigid shave this morning. As soon as I could free up a few extra bucks I'm buying the two new Glacial soaps.

Sounds like we need a mentholated version of barbershop. @crackstar is missing out.

Return to Elba is outstanding! It's different from the others, but lathers super easily, and performs great. The scent is close to Bonaparte, but a bit cleaner and fresher. Awesome.

OMG, after shaving with the Glacial Wintergreen this morning I felt a chilly tingle for a long time.

Have you guys noticed one of the problems with Stiring is that Rod makes these great limited runs of soaps and once they are out of production you find yourself squeezing them out till the run starts again. He did a run of Brutish that I need about a half dozen pucks of and then there is the return to Elba that I really like but its about 3/4 now and We might not see it again.

So much for 1st world problems!

We are fortunate in that there are many outstanding quality soap makers out there so despite the limited production of certain brands, one never feels they must do without a top-notch shave soap. ;)
