The barbed blade is actually the theory I am leaning towards. I should have brought the razor with me to work. It is killing me not being able to check this out! I like your cork idea. I may adopt that.

A good solid wine bottle cork works wonders to "cork a blade". :happy088:

youngunn Where's my TSD aftershave balm???

If you don't drink wine or don't have a cork left, home depot or Lowes sells a two pack of cork stoppers for a couple bucks in the hardware or nuts and bolts section.

Got home from my business trip and popped a Feather into the Stealth. It sliced through my stubble and gave me a great shave. I still need to get used to the angle on my neck (I think) because I didn't get a BBS shave in some spots. I also enjoyed my new Aventus AS from Irene at Ginger's Garden (duplicate of the famous scent from Creed).

I actually have a huge bag of wine corks... I sculpt miniatures, and you stick your wire armature into a cork to give yourself a handle to work on it with. I had trouble finding corks I liked, so I ordered a big ol' bag of 100 of them. But since I usually only work on a handful of sculptures at any given time, and I reuse the corks, I have ended up with a near endless cork supply. I'm actually thrilled to have a new purpose to put them towards.

    SOTD - Friday

After a long SOTD absence, it is good to be back!

    Razor - RRKS
    Brush - My new PLISSON!!!
    Soap - Proraso white
    Blade - Rapira PL

This is my first journey outside of badger. The Plisson is awesome . I LOVE IT!!! Produced perfect lather easily. I did a 3 pass shave with no issue. It is soft, but still a different feel to it then a Silvertip.
