2 pass BBS, though with lots of fun blade buffing.

follow up: Gillette face lotion from Walmart on one side; Axe menthol gel from Ollie's on the other. I prefer the Axe gel.

Why is it that whenever a fantastic soap or cream it comes out after a while it gets discontinued? The Permafrost stick from the Tryphon line is something which was sent to me by a good friend of mine who sold great wetshaving stuff and his soaps were absolutely awesome and so was his service, but unfortunately his job was preventing him from continuing in the business. I really enjoyed my shave with this stick - it lathers so easily and has plenty of menthol power with excellent skincare. The Gold Bond/Proraso Green combination felt heavenly afterwards.

The satin finish head arrived, and I can't wait to give it a shot. I will post close up pics as well as a comparison breakdown in the Mongoose thread.

WSO is one of my favorite artisans, its a shame it's not around anymore.

This PSO is so slick that I can't apply it with my razor using hand, because it affects my grip...lol. Simply great stuff Guy!

thanks JR. My skin is not oily, so I can't use an alcohol-only AS like Fine. The GG aftershave has some skin nourishers in it (glycerin and maybe aloe?). It still dries very quickly for me but leaves my face moisturized. Plus I really like the Aventus scent. I initially got the same As but with menthol. I don't like the menthol, so that bottle will end up in the classifieds.

BTW - I have always wondered how many people look through the SOS posting and just press "like" instead of actually reading the post. Now I know.

 

Glad you like the PSO. The scent is pretty darn good if I say so myself. I Like the Alcatraz bowl.
