    Shave of the Day

    L.O.S.E.R. EDITION

Prep: Hot towel, homemade patchouli and sandalwood Pre-shave Oil
Razor: GEM Heavy Flattop and Schick G1 injector
    Blade: GEM PTFE, Schick Injector
    Brush: Rubberset 400-4 Silvertip
Lather: Whoos the Man - Commander
Shave (setting): 4 passes; WTG, XTG, RXTG, ATG + Cleanup
    Post: Family Dollar Spice

Couldn't make up my mind on which S. E. to use so I went with both! The injector shaved awesomely and the G Bar was great too. I'm definitely a lover of single edge razors!

I finally unlocked the key to lathering this Whoos soap, TONS of water. I had great slick cushion from it and enough left over to shave again. Plus it smells amazing, spicy with vanilla in it.

Finished off with old spice to accent the spicy soap and man, I am BBS!

    G'evening gents

GEM micromatic clog pruf, GEM carbon blade, Noxzema for preshave, Nivea sensitive creme, Nivea aftershave balm. Not bad for a first shave. CCS shave with only a little irritation.

    Nivea Men's Face Wash
    ARKO Extra Performance Shaving Cream
    Vie-Long Horse Hair brush
    '62 Gillette Slim
    Feather Hi-Stainless (3)
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

The ARKO Extra Performance Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Vie-Long Horse Hair Brush. Two passes with my '62 Gillette Slim and Feather Hi-Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Since the puck/cake of soap hasn't got a bowl yet, I use it like a stick: rub it over the stubbles and face lather. It's soft and creamy, easy to lather and has a nice smell to it. I love it.

    Smooth Wednesday
I went with B&M Dickens today and I was rewarded with a very smooth and easy shave. I notice the mild nature of the SC101 in how much stubble has grown back since yesterday. There is certainly less when I use my slant or New. That is not to say the SC101 is not a good shaver - it is very good, and my face feels smooth for more than eight hours, and during the shave it is very forgiving. I finished with Latha aftershave and Tabac EdC.

Stirling Black Ice SS :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

Let's face it - the Stirling soaps are my favourites since a year now and the more I use them the more I love them. The Black Ice lathers so easily and although it's quite thirsty it's not hard to figure out the soap/water ratio. The menthol effect is nowhere near as strong as the Glacial Obsidian, but it's still strong enough to satisfy me and the skincare is brilliant. A good splash of Aqua Velva kept the chill going and made this shave end on a great note. BBS again with so little effort. ;) :D

    today's shave
hot water wash with nivea men's
    west German woody badger knot
    Jack Black supreme cream
    Muhle r41
    persona lab(2)
    clubman
    Bobby Jones a/s balm
today's shave went well. it's a shame I can't identify ol' west German woody, such a nice brush. Jack Black is nice on the face. the muhle was, "so nice I had to use it twice".(said in my best Barry White voice) I finished with clubman then a rubdown with Bobby Jones a/s balm.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

Great day for a shave with the Big Red Imp & MdC Combo. Smooth, easy 3-pass shave, while my being mindful of the very sharp square point this large blade.
