Is it good as, say Arko?

 

As good as for sure!

 

Saw Langhorne and the Law here in Rochester last year. Such an energetic band!

 

This is last night's shave of the Day. The difference is that today, I used the Shick I1 for the first time. I loved the shave, but because it felt SO smooth, I over-did it on the neck, and got some weepers. Otherwise, a great shave.

 

Petrichor day two
Rich creamy lather was achieved easily again and the post shave feel is great. The scent is still subtly sweet and I'm starting to detect complexity. It pairs well with Krampert's Finest Acadian Bay Rum.

Revisiting one of my favorite shaves and it did not disappoint. I do prefer shorter lofted brushes now, but still a great shave.

Here are two things I haven't used in quite a long time - my Wilkinson Sword brush and my Arko Ice Mint cream. First of all, in my honest and unbiased opinion I think I wasted my hard-earned money on the Nivea facial wash and when I finish it, I won't buy it again because it's not that good. The Wilkinson Sword brush is pretty good as a lather-maker although I doubt that I'd use it with my soaps. The Arko Ice Mint cream smells great and gives unbelievably rich lather with plenty of menthol cooling - in fact I think it's the only Arko cream which has a significant menthol effect and its skincare is excellent. The Barbon aftershave is awesome as well - it's so cooling, soothing, and I love the scent. BBS again, but the 7 AM needs to be replaced.

I haven't used Klar Kabinett in a while, shame on me! First time using Thayers Laverder WH SC102 continues to impress me.

Much better 2nd shave with the Goose. I think the issue was adjusting to the weight. I had been shaving with the incredibly light Stealth Slant and this razor is so much heavier. Great BBS shave aside from one section along my jaw line. I should have this dialed in by tomorrow.

I have some "Avon Musk Marine After Shave Conditioner". I received this in a pif a while back and only recently got around to using it. It is a very nice, light and soothing Aloe and moisturizing cream. I like it.

I have used it. You can get a good shave if you are careful setting it up. But the blade alignment issues make it really impractical for me. For $2, you really can't expect more though.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds: load & go with the ER Silvertip. Always easy, excellent lather. Polsilver SI in the Slim. Smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Azzaro.
