The Cella Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Vie-Long Horse Hair Brush. Two passes with my '62 Gillette Slim and Feather Hi-Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Feather started to tug some today, so, tomorrow I will start with a new blade and a new razor.

 

Superb Saturday Shave
I used my favorite B&M today - Lavanille. For me, it's hard to beat this scent! The experience today was easy, calm and efficient. The Voskhod blade cut as well as the first time - I wonder if these would last longer than other blades. I usually toss after three, but I'm tempted to keep going this time. The Latha AS is very good to my skin, and mixes well with the Lavanille scent.

the aos sandalwood has a good scent. love my Parker brush, always makes me feel nice using it. New to me,r41, is a very elegant, very efficient shaver. three passes, I'm good to go, clean as a new hundred dollar bill. finished with iced ice blue.

Soap Commander Courage today. 20 seconds: load & go with the oscar11. Easy, excellent lather. Polsilver SI in the Slim. Smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Country Club Sweet Water.

Another Proraso Pirate. I bet you spiked that Aftershave with some extra Menthol. Proraso is great for Menthol Monday's.

Quick shave today, so a quick post too.

• RazoRock Mission razor
• Mitchell's Wool Fat soap
• Turkish #1 "Lider" brush
• RazoRock alum block
• TSD Iced X2 Blue Spruce aftershave milk

Brrrr! What a cold and refreshing finish. Also first shave with the RR Mission -- and I discovered that it's a great little 3-piece razor with fantastic audible feedback. Will definitely keep this one.

Twenty minutes later.... Still "brrrrrr"! Love the double-iced aftershave milk too. Made the mistake of rubbing my eye briefly, and now my right eyelid feels frozen. LOL.

 

That's a cool setup, no pun intended(or is it?)

 

Thanks, Mark. It was one of Rafael's first ones and he doesn't offer the U2V1 model, any longer. I am very fortunate to have some of his handles as they are truly works of art.

Good shave, not great. Tried new blade and although performed ok, prefer the SP in my 34C, will try in other razors next week. Also disappointed in the Proraso Red Tub. Love the scent but not up to par with Cade or Tabac for me. Willing giving it another try but likely will be looking to trade it on BST soon.

 

On a road trip for the next four days so no pics until I return home.
