Aside from the lovely Wacker (which goes without saying), that is one striking yellow boar brush! :love029:
(hint: I need to get on the list for one of your boar beauties!)

Awesome Sunday morning! Temps in the high 40s. No wind. Made for a very pleasant, mild walk this morning. Doesn’t look like a white Christmas is in the works for us here, but then again this IS Michigan so we could get 3 feet of snow tomorrow LOL

    Pre- Corn Huskers
    Soap - Li Occitane Cade
    Brush - Plisson Synthetic
    Razor - L3 Slim Adj (4)
    Blade - Astra SS (2)
    AS - Pinaud Clubman

Good Shave today. The Astra SS preformed slightly better in the slim than the 34C but for me, still not as smooth as the SP's.

    Sunday:
    Prep: Shower / Noxzema
    Soap: Proraso White
    Brush: VDH boar
    Razor: SS
    Blade: Big Ben
AS: Dickersons WH / VIBR / Bump Patrol

Much better shave with the Ben Ben's today. I palm stropped them so that may have helped but I'll bet the biggest improvements were technique and my face has been clearing up. Very happy with today's shave, I did 2 passes wtg, for a close comfortable shave. I could have kept going but I'm still trying to get my face to clear up. I really think the kai blades were no good for me. I'm going to give the big ben blade another day if it's able and I seriously consider a bulk order.

    Lather: TSD Grey Vetiver type
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M
    Razor: Weber PH bulldog
    Blade: Perma-Sharp Super
    Post: Jack Black cooling gel

3 passes on my face and 1 on the scalp for a slick and smooth start to the week. I'm getting spoiled by the TSD soap and the Weber/Perma-Sharp combo.

Shave Soap: B&M Latha Shaving Soap

    Aftershave: B&M Latha AS Splash

When I hit the road on Friday for this 4 day road trip I grabbed two sets of shave soap and AS and just one each of the hardware. One of the shave soaps and AS that I grabbed was B&M Latha which had been sitting on the shelf for a month just waiting for me to give it a try. Well I did so this morning and at first when I opened the jar of soap I was a little underwhelmed by the aroma and the same for the AS. Once lathered up my impressions of the Latha changed as the lather and the aroma exploded and I cant really put my finger on it, maybe a little bit more powdery scent but I like the aroma of this soap. Dare I say better than Seville? The AS splash aroma is a little different than the soaps which I am guessing is due to the ingredients that is used as the base but I do like the soothing effect, didn't feel tacky on my skin and it seems the aroma has a short life of around a half hour, but again I have severe sinus issues so maybe a little off here. Both of these will be keepers for me even after I have myself a den clearing which I've been telling myself for 4-5 months now.

    Shave #3 - ATT Kronos S1

The quality of my shave with this razor continues to improve incrementally with this razor. It is so smooth. However, the truly effective shaving angle
is narrow and requires attention . Three pass BBS with no touch up. I have yet to try my R1 and am interested in how they compare. I also want to try my Atlas S1 setup. I am debating entering a 30 day trial with the setup below to really learn the nuances of this fine razor.

    Razor - ATT Kronos S1

    Blade - Rapira PL

    Brush - Plisson

    Soap - Cade

I also think it is a great synthetic and had thought it was the best one I had tried until I used an Edwin Jagger XL. :)

Another thing I wanted to point out is my Lord Super is a great DE but I don't suggest trying to shave fast with it because it's not as forgiving as a Super Speed.
