Can you use Cella in a shave bowl or mug? It seems that most people face lather Cella, but can you get good results in a bowl? I ask because I have a really nice bowl that I got a couple of weeks ago and I really like it and I don't want to give it up. Besides, I like the way I can keep the lather warm in my bowl.

I've never tried. But I'd assume that you can.

Yes you can, you can face/bowl lather any soap.

That's what I normally do. I often add a few drops of glycerin as well.

Impossible to lather MWF (for me anyway) in a bowl.

Cella is one of the easiest to lather but as Hairy Alaskan said, a bit of glycerine is good in it.

I face lather sometimes, but find I get better performance out of all soaps/creams when I take the time to whip lather up in bowl.

Cella whips up a great lather. Weather it is bowl or face lathered makes no difference to me. Just great lather!

Yes it is almond scented, and I always bowl lather Cella.

Sure is Almond scented. My wife made some Christmas cookies over the weekend and used Almond Essence. I couldn't help but be reminded of Cella every time I ate one

Well, it's hard to face lather with them after you transfer them into a shave dish

I don't think I've ever used a shave stick more than a dozen times before just transferring it into a soap dish (like an empty Mitchell's Wool Fat ceramic). I know some guys get great results with the sticks in stick form, I just prefer them in a dish.

Ok, so I just ordered a tub of Cella tonight. It is supposed to arrive in two days. I can hardly wait.

I have bought myself so many Christmas presents. A fat handled gold tech, 100 Astra SPs, and now a tub of Cella. Merry Christmas to me! Woot!
