SOTD Menthol Monday, December 15, 2014 Prep: Hot-Warm Shower, Neutrogena Face Wash Razor: Late 40s Gillette Super Speed Blade: Astra SP - #3 Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip - 30 X 55mm - Maiden Voyage Lather: TSD Shave Stick - Iced Barber Shoppe Post: Alum Stick, Aloe Vera Toner, Witch Hazel+, Gold Bond Green Lotion Aftershave: Fine - American Blend Face lathered the TSD Shave Stick with my new brush. Larry @ WD did an outstanding job setting the 30 X 65mm silvertip knot deep. This brush is very soft with a rigid backbone. It, pardon the pun, whipped up a frosty lather in seconds. The Iced Barber Shoppe was very cool on this Menthol Monday. Hope everyone has/had a great shave today. Go for it. Today!
15 Dec 2014 Menthol for Monday Pre- Corn Huskers Soap - CO Bigelow Brush - Vulfix 660S Medium Razor - L3 SS flair tip Blade - Astra SS AS - Skin Bracer Very good shave today. Once again the SS comes through on a blade that was just OK in other razors. A DFS all around zero sting with Alum Block and AS. That makes the Astra SS and Feather that work great in the SS for me.
