    Nivea Men's Face Wash
    Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger brush
    Merkur 37c Slant
    Feather Hi-Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Frank Shaving Finest Badger brush. Two passes with my Merkur 37c Slant and Feather Hi-Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Tulip Handle Tuesday!

Hey David, check out sparky's little badger brother...lol.

I finally got to try B&M cheshire soap, and what a fantastic scent. Thank you Phil..this is a homerun. If you like this, I say pull the trigger on the Lavenille. They have a similar spicy mystery going on in the scent profile. Superb lather, didn't require a PSO nor a ASB. Killer stuff....awesome results.

Stay tuned for another new brush tomorrow...

    Evening Shave
A near-repeat of yesterday's shave using my new Otto D, but tonight I paired it with one of my favorite soaps, L'Occitane Cade.
Super smooth shaving results! Three-pass shave, plus al title touch-up around the 'stache & soul patch. Shaving was much quicker when I was clean shaven!
Have a great Hump Day, all!

Today I was in the mood for a Brazilian barbershop-style shave so I decided to lather up with the Palmindaya cream which I received on Monday from a gentleman from another wet-shaving group who I traded with. This cream has such a nice scent which reminds me of Noxzema, and the lather's a pleasure to work with. There's also a good cooling effect which feels great. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me super-duper additional cooling and the Skin Bracer finalized the deal. Mission accomplished - a terrific BBS result! ;) :D

    Axe Chilled Face Wash
    3 hot towels
Lab Series Maximum Comfort Shave Cream
    Merkur 34C w/Gillette 7 O'clock SS (2)
Cold splash, alum, cold towel, witch hazel, Lab Series Razor Burn Relief Ultra, TSD AS Milk - Floid Blue Type
    W/X/A, touch-ups

I picked up the Lab Series products yesterday at Macy's while shopping for my wife. I was disappointed that it didn't lather, but decided to try it anyway. Wow. With just a thin layer of this cream for each pass, the shave rivaled my best shaves with lathering creams or soaps. The amount of irritation was noticeably less than usual, with just a couple tiny nicks. If I had to rate the experience (compared to building a lather, etc.), I'd call this a 1 out of 10. For shave quality - 8.5 out of 10. This may become my travel cream, and my daily preshave.

Now I just have to get a second job to pay for the stuff.

    Superb Shave
My Plisson easily made near optimal lather from B&M Dickens, as usual. My Aristocrat smoothly reduced my stubble in three passes, and I finished with Gondolier aftershave and lotion because today is going to be windy and cold.

    Soap: B&M Dickens
    Brush: Plisson

    Mastro Livi Grifetto

I am enjoying my Mastro Livi Grifetto shave after shave and I love it! It seems it is getting even better at each new shave and this is of course making me even happier for having bought it. Being an affordable razor, when compared to a whole artisan one made by Mastro Livi, it gives Grifetto an even more attractive chance to get it, nevertheless, with the usual quality delivered by Mastro Livi on each of his straight razors.
    • Pre-Shave: Proraso Green Cream
    • Soap: Tcheon Fung Sing Red Tub Shaving Cream
    • Brush: Mühle Modern 281 H 23, Fine Badger, Pine - 21 mm - Size M
    • Bowl: Gerby Bowl
    • Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
    • Razor: Mastro Livi Grifetto, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round Point

    • After Shave: Mennen Skin Bracer Aftershave

Nice shave from a bone handled old Bismarck( near mint). It still has a blued tang, I have a couple of these. A classic German blade, IMO. Have a good one.

About ten seconds in the microwave is all it takes to melt the CC. Then, I just pour it into the container (an old Arm and Hammer deodorant container). I set it aside to cool down. Works great.
