Today's shave was going well, then on the 3rd pass this happened:

The head just fell off. So I am going to write to the company I bought it from, as I have only had it about 6 months.

Razor - Slim set to 4
    Blade - Wilkinson Sword 5
Pre shave - Gillette pre shave wash
    & Trumpers Sandalwood skin food
Lather - D.R Harris Windsor scent
Aftershave - Trumpers Sandalwood skin food

I can't really describe it. Its smells a spicy and mild, I haven't smelled the original for a while, but its kind of its little brother. They do have different scents I know that for sure.

I prefer the soap. They smelled a bit different. I like the smell of the soap more I guess, but they are both easy to lather and gives very nice shaves!

    Friday:

    Prep: Shower,Noxzema
    Razor: 40s SS
    Blade: Treet Classic
    Brush: WD 24mm Black Badger
    Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum
    AS: Dickersons WH, VIBR
    DSC_2694.jpg
Really liked the Treet Classic again, though 2 shaves may be it's limit. Also the Ogallala Bay Rum was a superb performer, especially at its price point.

The shave today was not very satisfactory. A new blade in the Easy Rider Schick felt like a very dull blade. It did not cut very well.
This was the worst shave I have had yet. I will not write off this razor yet, I will try another new blade tomorrow. This shave I would not class as even close, it is more like a shave with an electric razor.

Up early to go to a meeting that apparently is tomorrow! Oh well, got in a nice 30 minute morning drive. But, I had a great shave to start off!

    Prep: hot shower
    Lather: TSD Grey Vetiver type
    Brush: Body Shop synthetic
    Razor: Weber PH bulldog
    Blade: Personna Super Platinum Chrome
Post: cool rinse and Captain's Choice Bay Rum

3 pass shave. Very smooth and effortless. I didn't have much stubble because I had a single pass shave last night before we went to a Christmas party. I really like the Weber razor. It almost always does a fantastic job.

That happened to my favorite Frank Shaving finest badger last year. I super glued it back in and have had no issues since.

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette SS Red Tip, Wade & Butcher Bow straight razor
Blade: Pol Silver Super Iridium (5)
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
    Soap: L'Occitane - Cade
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave
    Cologne:

A comfortable Darn Fine Shave. The Cade whipped up nicely by the Vie Long. The Bow and the Red Tip were at the top of their game. The AV brought the chill. No cuts, no nicks and no weepers. All in all a great shave experience.

    Have a blessed day!

I had the MFK - Oud laid out for use. I do not know what happened. There are so many things going on with Christmas coming up that I must have lost focus and forgot about it. :santa

    image.jpg Razor: Gillette Slim (k3) 1965 (5)
    Brush: e-shave finest Badger
Mug: Old Spice (early glass Mug 06) 1961 - 1964 First Mug with a taper last without a lip on top
    Cream: TOBS Grapefruit
    Blade: Feather (1)
Pre shave: Tree Hut Shea body wash Mango
Post shave:T.N. Dickerson’s Witch Hazel, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1980 glass AS (gift from my father in law)

Whipped up the TOB Grapefruit in a minute with the badger. Nice slick cushion and I really like the sent, reminds me of summer. I really like the slim and next to my FB it is my go to razor. The heavy handle and head gave me a nice smooth shave with no pressure with a Feather blade. The Shea Mango for the pre-shave helped give me a nice no burn shave. My technique is getting better on my neck, especially with a slick lather and sharp blade. The T.N. Dickerson's WH felt good on my face and that natural witch hazel scent was nice and fresh. After cleaning my razor and a little spray of isopropyl alcohol to help dry the innards, I smoothed on some Jack Black. And splash or two of that great Old Spice, perfect!

    Brush - Vulfix 660S Medium
Razor - L3 Superspeed flair tip
    Blade -Polsilver Super Iridium (3)

Blade continues to impress, 3 for 3 with various razors so far. To finish off, what is not to like with the barbershop smell of Arko/Clubman combination...
