Vol 2 is a really different film. Different pace altogether. But both are completely over the top. You gotta like it. I do, but certainly not very day!
Badlands (1973 - Martin Sheen & Sissy Spacek) Pretty good crime drama. Martin Sheen was very good portraying Charles Starkweather, a young man who went on a killing spree with his underage girlfriend in tow. The movie definitely takes some liberties with the true story though. Still very good nonetheless.
This movie...was.....indescribable Dark comedy/horror combined in a way I've never seen before Excellent acting and a very, very different movie....and very, very disturbing. 9/10. Check out the trailer for yourself:
I'm glad you gave it a 9/10. I have yet to see it an I heard terrible things but your post changed my mind. I'm a big Kevin Smith fan so it's good to hear something positive about this one. I'll check it out soon!
If you like the trailer you will love the movie. I found it to be an amazing, scary, disturbing and surprising experience. Not all of Kevin Smith's projects have contained the best acting performances but in this movie it all came together.
We wanted to get some more in the mood so yesterday we watched: Arthur Christmas and Rise of The Guardians
TCM ran The Treasure of the Sierra Madre yesterday afternoon. It's one of the few Bogart movies I'd never seen from start to finish before. It deserves its 4-star ranking, but Huston should have gotten the Oscar for supporting actor, but didn't.
Took the kid to see night at the museum 3 last night, enjoyable family flick and plenty of humor for mom and dad. My son and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
