Hello all. New member from the STL area. Fairly new to shaving the "right way" and loving every minute of it. Have a growing collection of vintage Gillette safety razors. WWI, WWI, New Long Comb, '47 Superspeed, 46/47 Aristocrat and growing. Looking forward to learning new things and having some fun along the way.
Well you found the right place...welcome to the den. Sounds like you have a nice group of razors. This is a great place to learn, and don't be afraid to ask questions. My buddy / co-worker is a huge blues fan...nice avatar.
Thanks. Well in STL you either have a Cards avatar or a Blues one. Great baseball in town and this year great hockey too. The NFL team, well we're still waiting to see.
Let's go blues! Tarasenko is da man this year. Welcome from a fellow St Louis native, moved to Alton IL. Enjoy the forums, lots of knowledge around here.
Hello and welcome to The Shave Den! You have a nice collection of razors, and you're off to a great start!
to TSD "NCoxSTL" Nice safety razor collection you have growing there. Although I'm a 3 piece user, the 47-50 Aristocrat is my favorite TTO.
Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
Tarasenko has been a BEAST! Hopefully he can stay that way all season. We need the cup in St. Louis this year!
Thanks. The addiction took off quickly it seems. My main razor is an EJ89 but I'm starting to rotate a few with it. I told my wife I was switching to save money. Hope she doesn't add up all the razors and products I've purchased so far. Long term savings maybe? Lol
LOL....If I could only count how many times I've heard that...LOL. You are going to fit right in... I'm guilty of that same mistake....
Well I did get her a lady EJ, and also a '65 Lady Gillete so she isn't without interest in it all. Actually likes using the EJ so I get a few breaks.
Very Nice! A couple that wet shaves together...stays together! I totally just made that up, but it has to be true...lol. It's all about the journey, and to be honest, it has been one heck of a ride...enjoy!
